what's a ShMood?
Some boffins found that ~93% of human-to-human communication is non-verbal. So, it turns
out it's not so much what you say, but what you do to say it. And unless you are a spin doctor, it's hard to subtly
express and have people understand what mood you are in and what kind of discussion you're expecting.That's where ShMood comes in. Through simple images (picture says a 1000 words!), the photoblogger can easily indicate what type of discussion they would like. People who comment in return know how best to pitch their thoughts and this results in better discussions! (hopefully)
The choice of ShMood icon and meanings are:
leave only positive and encouraging comments, preferrably about the subject (i.e. be nice to me please...)
looking for critically constructive comments, can even be technical
happy to hear any and all comments (i.e. bring it on!!)Placing your mouse over the icon will also display a prompt to remind you what the icon means
